- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/cds-simple-seodirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Use the Settings -> Simple SEO screen to configure the sitemap, the META info for the homepage, Google webmaster tools, Google analytic, etc.
If upgrading, please back up your database first!

A: The default title and description will be used under settings. If the front page, or blog page are used, then those pages meta information will be used.

Must be the top SEO plugin, especially for those who prefer to keep away from the classic 'code heavy' all-in-one-seo plugins.
This plug in facilitates all the core seo functionality needed, with an intuitive workflow.
Feels like very nicely written code.

Since version 2.0.14 (I'm not quite sure) I can't create/save/update any theme settings (Astra, Twenty Twenty, Neve) and pages with an activated plugin. It also prevents the import of WordPress templates (starter sites).I run 5 Wordpress websites, 4 of which use this great plugin. If I deactivate the plugin, everything works again.When saving, there is a red error message at the top of the web page that is currently open. The error can be reproduced on all Wordpress installations.

I am not accusing the developer of anything nefarious without more proof, but I will say this plugin is sketchy. Here is my support post I left.
As with the previous Rank Math error, I received the same blank page error. I AM running php 8.0. AND there were no php errors on my server.
Why would you direct the plugin to a third party site (without warning) to do an import?
Seems very sketchy. I'll be changing my WP password, uninstalling your plugin, and giving the appropriate review.

I run several Websites with Vistaprint and WordPress. I was Really Wishing there was a Simple and Effective SEO Tool for WordPress like I have with Vistaprint and I actually found one after several searches different times that left me in frustration. SIMPLE SEO! How can I thank you enough David, for making this Priceless Treasure available? It's an hour pass midnight here and I thought I would stop and make my Review I have been looking forward to. In my opinion, This Type of SEO Application wipes out the need for High Tech applications with all the bells and whistles and somewhat daunting for most of us. YES, This Is my Application of Choice!
