گزارش تغییرات
1.15.0
- New: Edit a package in the cart. “Edit package” opens the configurator with the saved selection and texts; the package stays in the cart until you apply your changes.
- New: A personal message per step. Customers type a text, for example a greeting for a card, and a step can consist of the text field alone. The text appears in the order summary, cart, order and e-mail.
- New: Embed a configurator as a Gutenberg block or an Elementor widget.
- New: Multilingual shops with WPML and Polylang. Caches are kept per language, and prices follow the shop’s format.
- New: Logic made visible in the editor: a flow view of all steps, conditions and rules, and a test run in which you choose like a customer — nothing is saved, nothing goes into the cart.
- New: Easier fields in the editor: a colour picker with your own colours and a readability check, choices as buttons or as a window with previews, spacing, corner radius and shadow as fields with a preview, visibility as three device buttons, and a context menu on every element (right click or Shift+F10).
- New: The “Structure” tab shows the whole page — rows, columns, steps with their names, and blocks — and brings the element into view on the canvas.
- New: Live elements (price, counter, step badges, product slots) are inserted into a column with a click, and land in the column under the pointer when dragged.
- New: Rules that leave a required step empty are caught. “Ready?” warns, for example “With Box S, step 2 has nothing left to choose”, and opens the rule. In the shop, a product card warns before it is chosen, and the empty step offers “Choose something else” or “Remove”.
- New: Steps from the step library are inserted from a window next to “Add step”, with a sketch of every step.
- New: With “Highlight block on settings hover”, hovering a section of the step settings outlines that part of the step on the canvas.
- Changed: Dialogs in the shop are real modal dialogs. The focus moves into the dialog, Tab stays inside, and the focus returns afterwards. Esc no longer discards a saved selection in the “Configurators found” dialog — only “Start over” does.
- Changed: The quick style bar starts collapsed as a small “Aa” button, so it no longer covers the element above. It can start open (menu “⋯”).
- Changed: Settings that had no effect were removed from the editor: the loading screen, the “Cart edit” texts, the notifications for product added/removed and configuration saved/reset, and 17 further texts without a use in the shop.
- Changed: Old German default texts (“Teilen”, “Zurücksetzen”, “Gesamtpreis” …) no longer override the translation of the shop language.
- Fix: Buying failed with “Step … requires 1–2 products” when a required step was hidden by a condition.
- Fix: The checkout rejected a package whose following steps were all optional.
- Fix: Preselected products were missing after “Start over”, and in steps that only open once a box is chosen.
- Fix: Texts entered in steps were lost in shared links and in the remembered selection.
- Fix: Internal item data (step, package ID, configurator ID) was listed in the admin order.
- Fix: Surcharges were spread over the package’s products instead of standing on their own line.
- Fix: Dialogs could lie beneath the sidebar of the “Bundle Sidebar” addon.
- Fix: The bar ignored the configurator font and broke out of narrow layouts; “Break out of the theme column” did not reach the full width.
- Fix: The popup preview in the editor showed other texts, fonts and borders than the shop.
- Fix: The setup wizard lost the names of directly chosen products after “Back”, and did not show what a starter template brings.
- Fix: Several labels could not be changed or translated. All new texts are translated into German (informal and formal).
- Developers: Addon API 1.2.0 with hooks for personalisation, the filter
f12_configurator/package/line_surcharges, andgetStepsStatus()in the extension API.
1.14.0
- New: A setup wizard creates your first configurator in a few minutes. Choose a purpose and a look, pick categories or products per step, say how many pieces fit into the box, and publish it on a new page. Three starter templates are included.
- New: “Ready?” checklist in the editor. It lists what is still missing — no product source, an empty category, a box without capacity, no page — and takes you straight to the step that needs fixing.
- New: Box capacity is set on the step of the configurator instead of on the WooCommerce product, so the same box can require one piece in one configurator and a full box in another. Existing values are copied over automatically once; the product values stay as the default.
- New: Conditional steps. A step appears only when a product, category or tag was (or was not) chosen in an earlier step. The server checks the same rule.
- New: Preselected products per step.
- New: Variations as one card with a dropdown, instead of one card per variation — selectable per step.
- New: Product source with excluded products, seven sort orders (including manual) and “in stock only”.
- New: The bundle is one position in the cart, order and e-mail: the components are indented below the package, the package total sits on the package line. Works in the classic and the block cart.
- New: Duplicate a configurator from the list, and a complete backup and restore (steps, design, settings, logo) through export and import.
- New: The design editor is tidier. Labelled toolbar with a “More” menu for rare actions, the step inspector shows the essentials first with the rest under “More settings”, search in every inspector, click a block in the library to insert it, clicking a part of a product card opens its settings, and a short introduction on first use.
- Changed: The button in the bar says “Add to cart” instead of “Finalize” (German: “In den Warenkorb” instead of “Weiter”). A text you set yourself stays.
- Changed: The global design page is gone. Its values are copied once into the empty fields of your designs, where they can be changed per configurator.
- Fix: With net prices and gross display, the configurator total differed from the cart (35.82 vs. 41.31). The configurator now calculates with the price WooCommerce displays, line by line, and matches the cart to the cent. The order summary uses the same line totals.
- Fix: The block cart lost its table layout — product images grew to about 300 px and the columns no longer matched the header.
- Fix: In the block cart the package line and its components showed quantity steppers; changing them led to “Product not found”.
- Fix: Collapsed package lines in the cart showed the box price instead of the package total, and hid the delivery time from Germanized / German Market.
- Fix: The add-to-cart button, the back/next buttons and the close button of notices did not react to the keyboard (Enter or Space). Customers who order by keyboard or with a screen reader could not reach the cart.
- Fix: Step names and slots in the default bar were white on the light bar and could not be read.
- Fix: Before a box was chosen, the bar showed the step’s own maximum as the box size (“0/12” for a box of six). It now shows “–” until the box is known.
- Fix: Next to a second group, the slots in the bar were cut off on the right, counter included. The bar now shortens them to the space available, and “+N” counts every missing place of the box.
- Fix: After an update, browsers could keep an old copy of the plugin’s stylesheet, so design fixes did not show up in the shop.
- Fix: The editor stayed empty when switching from one configurator to another.
- Fix: The editor dropped unknown step fields and the extra product source settings on load, so they were lost on the next save.
- Fix: Saving in the editor cleared the sidebar description.
- Fix: Several texts were fixed in German or could not be translated (order summary title, placeholders, media button).
- Developers: Addon API 1.1.0 with new extension points for price modifiers, step visibility, product filters, checkout blockers and editor sections.
1.13.2
- Fix: In the WooCommerce block checkout, every change to the address produced a server error (“The WooCommerce cart is not available.”), even without a configurator product in the cart. Shipping and taxes were then not recalculated for the address the customer had entered. The cart is now loaded before it is checked.
1.13.1
- Tested with WordPress 7.1 and PHP 8.5.
- Fix: PHP 8.4 and newer logged a deprecation notice for an implicitly nullable parameter. The plugin worked, but sites with debug logging enabled saw the notice on every request.
1.13.0
- New: Rows and columns in the content area. Place text beside an image, or a step beside a summary. Existing designs are migrated automatically the first time you open them; nothing is lost.
- New: Blocks can sit inside a step, for example a note above the product grid.
- New: Step navigation with back/next buttons. The guard that stops customers from skipping an incomplete step can be switched off.
- New: Callout box, progress indicator and a button/link element.
- New: A finished step folds away to a single line showing what was chosen, with a “Choose another” button.
- New: Switching inside a full step. Clicking a different card asks whether to switch instead of refusing with “maximum reached”.
- New: A container that is too small says so, with the number — nothing is silently discarded.
- New: The comparison reads like a price comparison and you can act on it: clicking a row switches your choice.
- New: Product cards can show a benefit line and a factual stock line. Both are off by default.
- New: A new configurator opens with the “Assortment” design instead of a blank page. It is loaded, not saved.
- Improvement: Clearer product cards out of the box, and a selected product is now visibly marked.
- Fix: On phones, grids with a quantity control break to fewer columns, so “+” can no longer land on the neighbouring card.
- Fix: 23 differences between the editor preview and the front end, found by a new parity test.
- Fix: “No products found” is now translated instead of always German.
