Per government regulations, every .za website has to have a home page link to the official portal at https://sacoronavirus.co.za

This plugin places a link on your homepage (and optionally every page) of your WordPress site.

The plugin admin settings let you configure various aspects of the plugin: colours, fonts, size, position.

WordPress Admin

  1. In the menu, go to Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for sacoronavirus-link
  3. Press Install Now
  4. Go to Plugins in the menu
  5. Find SACoronavirus Link and press Activate
  6. Configure the plugin from the Coronavirus link in the menu.

From WordPress.org

  1. Visit https://wordpress.org/plugins/sacoronavirus-link/
  2. Choose download
  3. Transfer the zip file contents to the wp-content/plugins directory of your webserver
  4. Go to Plugins in the menu of your WordPress Admin
  5. Find SACoronavirus Link and press Activate
  6. Configure the plugin from the Coronavirus link in the menu.

It's become a legal requirement to put a link to the government's coronavirus info site on all co.za pages. This plugin has made it extremely easy to add the link to all the sites run on WordPress without messing with their design. 5 Stars for being able to customise background and text colour and position!
