la versione free fa gia’ il suo dovere, io ho preso la pro, perche’ e’ giusto supportare chi fa cplugin che funzionano, Il plugin va seguito un po per limitare i falsi positivi, ma dopo un ora di setup ma sopratutto di controllo del log. ho 2000 bot bloccati e praticamente 0 falsi positivi. per ora sono in modalita’ conservativa, man mano andro’ piu’ pesante. ma gia cosi grande lavoro. consiglio, mettete il log a 100 righe, lo copiate e lo incollate dentro chat gpt chiedendo di controlalre il log del plugin. e avete una roadmap di consigli per l’ottimizzazione. Richiesta per lo sviluppatore: sarebbe bello avere la possibilita’ di scaricare tutto il log in un file exel Ho bloccato anche una buona parte dei cinesi che mi angosciano . Ho comprato anche il firewall di cui farò una recensione appena finito il setup, ma per ora anche quello funziona molto bene. ———————– The plugin requires some attention to limit false positives, but after an hour of setup and especially checking the log, I have 2,000 bots blocked and practically zero false positives. I recently purchased the unlimited license foor 50$ for your plugin and installed it on three of my websites. However, after installation, I noticed that the plugin is blocking customers from logging into their accounts—it simply displays a white screen. I’ve tested the issue by disabling the plugin on all three sites, and once disabled, the login functionality works perfectly again. Emailed them about the issue, received a useless template repsonse as I am their QA employee instead of fixing the error themself, 50$ doesn’t cost the time I will spend fixing their plugin, I just disabled it.

I’m using this plugin in last few days, and it’s great. You just need to know how to set the config and let it go and just forget about bots. It does everything else for you. after few years testing many other plugins, it seems I finally got at the final stop and no need to search more. Well done Bill. Kudos to you.

Very good plugin for blocking all the bad bots, and allowing only the good bots…

I bot stavano letteralmente mangiando il mio Hosting ora dopo ora. Avevo quasi raggiunto tutto lo spazio delle risorse… Dopo averlo installato centinaia di Bot sono scomparsi: più di 600 bot bloccati in 24 ore. E’ un Plugin fatto benissimo! Ha salvato i miei 5 siti! Fantastico!

I run three websites and each was getting visited by thousands of bots per day. At one point this was using up 95% of the server resources. This plugin cut out all that traffic – and over the period of a few days it went down from about 1500 blocked bots per day per website, to about 20 or 30. They really do give up when they start getting 404s and 403s for everything. I also changed the name of my Wordpress login page using “WPS Hide Login” and that cut out hundreds of attempts at hacking into the site by not leaving the default login page as “wp-login.php” which is publicly-known. I was able to turn off the “Limit Login Attempts Reloaded” plugin because nothing knows the login page name, so I get no failed logins. Now my CPU usage sits near zero most of the time and everything runs much more smoothly.
