The plugin does not remove the login field from the registration form, so users 
still need to enter a login name.

This was a great plugin, but WordPress 4.5 introduced the ability to login with 
email so it is not longer needed.

Using this plugin users can login using their emailid as well as username. Works
with buddypress as well. Thanks
