There are three ways of installing this plugin.<\/p>\n

using plugin directory ( most common )<\/h4>\n

  1. log into your wordpress backend<\/li>\n
  2. go to \"Plugins\" - \"installed Plugins\"<\/li>\n
  3. click on \"add Plugins\"<\/li>\n
  4. search for appcastle.net<\/li>\n
  5. install and activate plugin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    using zip file<\/h4>\n

    1. download plugin from https:\/\/plugin.appcastle.net\/appcastle_wordpress.zip<\/li>\n
    2. log into your wordpress backend<\/li>\n
    3. go to \"Plugins\" - \"installed Plugins\"<\/li>\n
    4. click on \"add Plugins\"<\/li>\n
    5. click on \"upload\"<\/li>\n
    6. choose zip file from hard disk<\/li>\n
    7. install and activate plugin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      using ftp<\/h4>\n

      1. download plugin from https:\/\/plugin.appcastle.net\/appcastle_wordpress.zip<\/li>\n
      2. unzip file<\/li>\n
      3. upload directory to \/plugins folder of wordpress installation<\/li>\n
      4. log into your wordpress backend<\/li>\n
      5. go to \"Plugins\" - \"installed Plugins\"<\/li>\n
      6. activate plugin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        register at appcastle.net<\/h4>\n

        1. go to https:\/\/register.appcastle.net\/de\/registration<\/li>\n
        2. create account<\/li>\n
        3. wait for password mail and set password<\/li>\n
        4. log in and go to \"Wordpress Watch\" and add name and address of wordpress installation<\/li>\n
        5. generate token and add to configuration in wordpress<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

          What about security?<\/h4>\n

          Nobody will be able to log into your wordpress account. All information retrieved from your server are: wordpress version, plugins, themes and used space of disk and database. The connection is secured by a generated API token, which you are able to change at any time.<\/p>\n
