When the strip was not wide enough, that\nceiling stayed below half the width, the wrap never triggered and the\nstrip simply stopped. One repetition's width is now measured from the\nitems themselves, and the content is repeated further if there is not\nenough room to loop.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p><strong><code>accent_color<\/code> and <code>bg_secondary_color<\/code> did nothing.<\/strong> Both are\ndocumented shortcode attributes and both were accepted without\ncomplaint, but no stylesheet rule ever read the custom properties they\nset - <code>--hesapis-accent<\/code> and <code>--hesapis-primary<\/code> were declared in\n  :root and never used, and <code>--hesapis-bg-secondary<\/code> \/ <code>--hesapis-card-bg<\/code>\nwere not declared at all. The accent colour now drives the widget\nheading rule and the ticker labels; the secondary background drives\ntable header rows and card surfaces.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><strong>The swipeable ticker from 2.4.3 did not work.<\/strong> The strip was animated\nwith a CSS transform, and transforms create no scrollable overflow, so a\nscrollable container had nothing to scroll. Auto-scroll and dragging now\nshare one mechanism (<code>scrollLeft<\/code>), which also removes the class of bug\nwhere the two fought each other and pushed content out of view.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ticker text sped up and vanished after a few minutes.<\/strong> The script\nduplicated the strip's contents on every initialisation, and\ninitialisation also runs on each auto-refresh, so copies doubled: 4, 8,\n\n<ol>\n<li>With a fixed duration every doubling made the strip twice as fast.\nThe markup already contains the two copies the loop needs, so the\nduplication was removed entirely. This affected 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 too.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Added<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong><code>margin<\/code> attribute for the ticker.<\/strong> Themes often wrap widget areas in\n30-40px of bottom margin, which leaves the strip floating away from the\ncontent below it. <code>margin=\"0\"<\/code> closes the gap; any CSS length works.<\/li>\n<li>Ticker edge fades stay pinned to the edges while the strip is scrolled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>2.4.3<\/h4>\n\n<p><strong>Fixed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Settings page was unreachable.<\/strong> The \"Settings\" link on the Plugins\nscreen pointed to <code>options-general.php?page=hesapis-market-data<\/code>, while\nthe menu was registered as\n  hesapis-market-data-gold-currency-crypto-prices. Because the slugs did\nnot match, WordPress responded with \"Sorry, you are not allowed to\naccess this page\" - so new users could never reach the screen to enter\ntheir API key.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Currency table showed the wrong denomination.<\/strong> With\n  hesapis_currency set to TRY, USDTRY was still rendered in euro\n(EUR0.8562) and the other pairs in dollars. The ticker on the same page\nshowed the correct lira value, so two widgets disagreed about identical\nAPI data. The setting is now honoured.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turkish translation never loaded.<\/strong> The catalog was named\n  hesapis-market-data-tr_TR.mo while the text domain is\n  hesapis-market-data-gold-currency-crypto-prices. WordPress could not\nmatch the file and silently fell back to English. The file now matches\nthe text domain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\"Cache Duration\" setting had no effect.<\/strong> The cache class used the\nhard-coded <code>HESAPIS_CACHE_TIME<\/code> constant instead of reading the option.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Up\/down colour options did nothing.<\/strong> <code>positive_color<\/code> and\n  negative_color were emitted as <code>--hesapis-positive\/negative<\/code>, but the\nstylesheet reads <code>--hesapis-up\/down<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Added<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Adjustable ticker speed.<\/strong> A 5-120 second slider on the settings page,\nplus a per-instance <code>speed=\"20\"<\/code> shortcode attribute. The previous\n  slow \/ <code>normal<\/code> \/ <code>fast<\/code> keywords keep working.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swipeable ticker.<\/strong> On touch devices you can now drag the strip left\nand right to reach the next quotes. Touching pauses the animation; it\nresumes 2.5 seconds after release.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Appearance options for the ticker.<\/strong> <code>bg_color<\/code>, <code>text_color<\/code>,\n  border_color, <code>accent_color<\/code>, <code>positive_color<\/code> and <code>negative_color<\/code>\n\n<ul>\n<li>available on the other widgets but missing here - now work on the\nticker, along with new <code>font_size<\/code> and <code>padding<\/code> attributes.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li><strong>Accessibility.<\/strong> The animation stops for visitors who ask their\nsystem to reduce motion (WCAG 2.3.3); because the strip is now\nswipeable, no data becomes unreachable.
