It is not included in this WordPress.org plugin.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin checks links by making HTTP HEAD or GET requests from your WordPress server to the URLs found in your published posts and pages. This is necessary to determine whether each link responds successfully.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this free plugin, requests are sent when an administrator starts a scan. If a separate add-on is installed, it may also invoke scanning according to its own settings. Each destination website receives the requested URL, your server's IP address, and the plugin's user-agent string. Because the destinations are the websites chosen in your own content, their respective terms and privacy policies apply. The free plugin does not send scan results to Kitawolf Studios or to a centralized link-checking service. Requests use the WordPress HTTP safety checks; local-site allowances and site-level filters can affect which destinations WordPress permits.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Source code<\/h3>\n\n<p>The human-readable React and Sass source is included in the <code>src<\/code> directory. It checks HTTP\/HTTPS URLs, protocol-relative URLs and root-relative paths. Plain relative paths, links generated only at runtime, custom-field\/page-builder storage, images without anchors and custom post types are not comprehensively scanned.
