- Upload
category-to-custom-post-typeto the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to Tools > Cat 2 Post Type

Simple as it should be!
It will move not only categories but tags and all posts to any custom post type you select.
It saved hours of work.
