MediaAgentAI is a service that writes blog articles tailored to your shop or website
and adds them to WordPress. This plugin is the bridge between your site and the service:
it connects the site, hands over the data needed for publishing, and makes sure the
meta description is stored where your SEO plugin keeps it.
The plugin itself does not generate content, does not create or remove user accounts or
application passwords, and does not add anything to the public side of your site.
What the plugin does
- connects your site to the service using an account and an application password that you create yourself,
- checks that the account has the rights of the Author role and no more – accounts that can edit the content of other users or administer the site are refused,
- registers your site with the service and hands over the data needed for publishing,
- exposes the SEO fields of your SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress) in the REST API so that the meta description can be saved,
- shows in the admin screen what has been sent, and lets you disconnect the site with a single button.
The service only publishes its own posts, with their images and tags, in your existing
categories. It never manages plugins, themes, users or settings of your site.
External services
This plugin connects to the MediaAgentAI service (https://mediaagent.studio) in order to
register the site and publish articles on it.
When you connect, the plugin sends: the site address, the REST API address, the e-mail
address of the site administrator, the username and the application password that you
entered, the WordPress and PHP versions, whether WooCommerce is installed, the name of the
active SEO plugin, the category permalink base, and the names and identifiers of the post
categories. The exact list is shown in the plugin screen after connecting. The plugin does
not store the application password.
When you disconnect the site, or deactivate the plugin while the site is connected, the
plugin sends the installation identifier and the site address. The service then deletes
the application password from its servers and stops publishing. The application password
itself stays in WordPress – revoking it is up to you.
The connection is made only after the site administrator enters the account details and
clicks the button – activating the plugin sends nothing.

نصب
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Create a user for MediaAgentAI in Users > Add User with the Author role.
- Open the profile of that user and add a new application password named MediaAgentAI.
- Go to Settings > MediaAgentAI (or click “Settings” next to the plugin on the Plugins screen), enter the username and the application password, and click “Connect site”.
- Wait until the two free sample articles are ready – the entrance to MediaAgentAI Studio then appears on the plugin screen.

Which role should the account have?

Author. MediaAgentAI can then publish and edit only its own posts, upload their images and
add tags, and it uses the post categories you already have. Accounts with the Editor,
Administrator or Shop manager role are refused, because the service does not need, and must
not get, access to the content of other users or to the administration of your site. -
Why a separate account instead of my own?

So that the articles have an author of their own, access is limited to what publishing
needs, and the connection does not depend on the account of a particular person. -
Does the plugin publish anything without my knowledge?

No. The two free sample articles are created as drafts, and you decide in the Studio
whether and when to publish them. Publishing anything automatically has to be turned on
in the Studio first. -
How do I cut the access?

Click “Disconnect site” on the plugin screen, or deactivate the plugin – MediaAgentAI then
deletes the application password from its servers and stops publishing. The password
itself belongs to you and stays in WordPress: revoke it in the profile of the account, in
the Application Passwords section, when you no longer need it. Revoking it cuts the access
immediately, whether or not the site has been disconnected. -
I do not use an SEO plugin. Will anything stop working?

Articles will be published normally, but without a meta description – WordPress has no
field of its own for it, the SEO plugin keeps it. -
Why does connecting fail on a site without HTTPS?

WordPress disables application passwords outside HTTPS by default. This is a WordPress
safeguard, not a limitation of the plugin.
